🎉Let’s Roll Into 2026 - With Buttery, Salty Goodness!✨

Hi Reader,

Happy first newsletter of the year! 🥳

How was your December? Mine was super busy with my bil and his family visiting. It was SO much fun! Late nights, non-stop chatter, and loads and loads of food! Now that they have all gone back, the house is quiet and empty, and it's going to take a while to get used to that!

But I’m also so excited to be here with you again - sharing warmth, buttery joy, and all the good things that make kitchens feel like home!

If your New Year’s resolution was “eat more delicious bread,” I’ve got just the thing to start 2026 on a soft, crusty, and salty-butter-drippy note… and yes, you’ll want to bookmark this one.

🥖 Meet: Salted Butter Rolls (a.k.a. Shio Pan Bread)

These aren’t just any dinner rolls - they’re inspired by the legendary salted butter bread you find in bakeries across Japan and Korea. Imagine rich buttery bread with crispy edges and pillowy soft insides. Each bite is just a little bit heavenly.

🧈 My Personal Touch

These started as a little inspiration from Korean bakery vlogs that I'm addicted to - but after lots of tasting, tweaking, and testing, I tailored this version to be truly home-bake-friendly.

What I love most? That crispy golden edge where the butter oozes out, and the way flaky salt makes your eyes light up. 🫰🏻

Plus, it’s one of those recipes you’ll be proud to serve and even prouder to eat!

You’ll find the full recipe, step-by-step instructions, tips, and a video on the blog 👇🏻

⭐️Thank you for baking with me, and cheers to more cozy kitchen moments this year. Can’t wait to share more with you next time!⭐️

With love & sweetness,
