The "I forgot dessert" save✨

Hi Reader,

I love hosting! I make long lists of everything I want to make, and plan out every detail...and then I forget about dessert. Yes, that does happen!

Which is exactly why I keep a small list of recipes that come together with pantry staples and 30 minutes of "between everything else" time.

Top of that list: Cherry Puff Pastry Tarts. Store-bought puff pastry, fresh or jarred cherries, and a quick cream cheese filling. They bake while you handle everything else and come out looking like a bakery-style dessert!

Here are 6 last-minute heroes:

Cherry Puff Pastry Tarts

Elegant, rustic, and a breeze to make. Delicious jammy summer cherries tucked inside rich, buttery, flaky layers of pastry. Note: Use cherry jam instead of fresh cherries!

Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Silky, rich, and ready in 10 minutes flat. The blender does all the work, and nobody guesses the secret ingredient.

Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates

Dressed up with chocolate and pistachios, these look so fancy, but they are seriously low effort, and you'll want to eat the whole plate!

2 Ingredient Chocolate Pudding

A classic dessert you can enjoy in endless ways. This dessert is almost as simple as instant pudding but much tastier. Note: Double the batch!

Lemon Tiramisu

Bright, creamy, and the perfect refreshing finish to a hot-weather meal. Make it in the morning, serve it in the evening. Note: Use store-bought lemon curd - a big time-saver!

Biscoff Truffles

3 ingredients. 20 minutes. The kind of dessert that disappears in five minutes flat at any gathering.

Have a beautiful Sunday, friends, and to those celebrating, a very happy Memorial Day! ❤️
